The only downside I've discovered with this model was that the VibraRise mop pad mount is not removable. It is possible to replace the mopping cloth when required, but it's not easy to take the mount off for washing manually. I've found that any plush carpet that the robot touches will come into contact with the Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, and can cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a range of intelligent features, including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. You can manage and set up these through the Roborock app, which is also home to its maps and advanced mopping settings.
