Item Upgrade Tips That Will Change Your Life
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the performance of a piece of gear and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random augmentations applied.
The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP and/or provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more marketable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to buy a new item, such as a weapon, armor or ring. This allows you to swap the item for another similar item and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable method of upgrading gear. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item and any resources wasted aren't refunded.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in chests and crates or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of a piece equipment, for example increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can reroll their equipment in three categories that include physical power, magical power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage that weapons and melee attacks and spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a better quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to produce it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens placed on action spaces, remains on the space until the next success is being rerolled. This allows you to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. Once they are open, they display a full description and icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.
In the end, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that increase an item's level by increasing its stats and abilities. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. These stones can also be purchased by players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade gear players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click on the "level up" button. This will display a list of the item's levels and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. When the requirements are satisfied, the user can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be raised in level by a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is safe and doesn't impact the item's durability. This makes the system an ideal way for players to get an advantage in combat without putting a strain on their bank accounts. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item onto a new piece of gear.
For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to obtain these stones, such as signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can break down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to increase the power of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade item materials, and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will use up the upgrade components and grant the item a higher level, granting the item upgrader a boost in that particular area. The process will continue until the item is at its highest level.
Items that have upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be added to more than one Best item upgrader at the same time. Each upgrade component also requires an amount of items, as well as a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the first is where players can put in an item that they wish to upgrade, and the right shows a preview of what the gear will look like once it is at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after is a player has enough resources will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its highest level, upgrades will no longer be available to it. In the same way, once a piece of gear reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be slotted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to offer an attribute bonus or extra effect while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs which can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to increase certain attributes of weapons and armor they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item differ depending on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium along with the number of Upgrade tokens.
The upgrade items can be used to make set pieces or weapons to provide additional effects or to increase the level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can boost the stats of the item.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" For instance, increases defense base and gives an additional 20% chance to block. Additionally the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.
Certain items are better off being upgraded less for their increased stats, but because it allows players to gain the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. These include the item type (either Armor or Weapon) the tier of the item and the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
Once you've satisfied the requirements for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will change to show how close to completing it. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader kit upgrader NPC.
