15 Item Upgrade Benefits Everyone Must Be Able To
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the performance of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations that are applied.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail for instance, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capability in PvP and/or add additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more marketable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens let you reroll a purchased item, like an armor, weapon or ring. The item is swapped for another similar one, with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an economical method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't keep the quality of the original item, and any wasted resources won't be compensated for.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors by a variety of means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchase them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of an item upgrade of equipment such as increasing its damage.
Players can reroll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power increases the damage that weapons and melee attacks while spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require items that are either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on action spaces The reroll marker is left on the space until the next success result is rerolled. This lets you not waste upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the start of every Preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened they will display a complete description and an icon for the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's store will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
During an event, blueprints may be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to the choice of Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available to reroll, and those that are located in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones which increase the value of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. They can also be obtained by players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click on the "level up" button. The screen will show a summary of the item's levels and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, he is able to click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be raised in level by a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last from a few seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is risk-free and does not impact the longevity of the item. This makes the system an excellent method for players to get an advantage in battle without straining their bank accounts. Furthermore players can transfer experience and the progress of an upgraded item to a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for novice players. There are a variety of ways to acquire the stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets you increase the power of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It is achieved by adding upgrade item components at the Upgrade Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will use up the upgrade materials and grant the item an increased level, which gives the item a boost in that particular area. This process can continue until the item is at its highest level.
Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be added to more than one item at the same time. Additionally each upgrade component will require a particular quantity of items to be used and a minimum level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the first is where players can put in a piece of equipment that they wish to upgrade, and the right shows a preview of what the equipment will look like once it is at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when is a player has enough resources will start the upgrading process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item is at its maximum capacity that it can no longer have the option of upgrading. Also, when an item level upgrade reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons to provide an additional benefit or benefit while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs which can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
The upgrades to items allow players the ability to increase certain attributes of weapons and armor they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item will vary depending on its type however, you'll generally require Dilithium along with an amount of Upgrade Tokens.
Upgrades to items can be incorporated into equipment set pieces and weapons for extra effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been placed into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components come with additional modifiers which can further increase the stats of an item.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" for example, increases base defense and adds an additional 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" on the other hand increases damage to weapons.
Some items benefit from upgrading not so much for their improved stats, but more for the fact that it allows players to get the most value from a flawless roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by the melee PvP communities and can be worth up to 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
If you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will show an in-game window that lists the required requirements. This includes the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) the tier of that item as well as the upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
The game will add an item in your inventory when you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how close you are towards finishing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
