Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades to gear increase its base stats, and sometimes boosts its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random augmentations that are applied.
For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb ability in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an item you have acquired like a weapon, armor, or ring. This allows you to swap the item for another similar one, with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable option to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item and any resources that are wasted will not be refunded.
Survivors can obtain Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests, or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of the equipment that could include increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can reroll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage done by melee and weapons and spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The reroll marker, unlike other special tokens or markers placed on action spaces remains on the space until the next Success is being rerolled. This is a way to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they show a description and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for the amount of coins.
As a result, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that boost an Best item upgrader's level by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. They can also be purchased by players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade their gear, players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click on the "level up" button. This will display a menu that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being leveled up and the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. After the player has met the requirements, he is able to click the upgrade item button and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can take between seconds and minutes.
The upgrade process is risk-free and will not affect the item's longevity. It's an excellent option for players who wish to gain an advantage in combat, but don't want to spend a lot of money. Additionally, players can transfer the experience and advancement of an upgraded item to new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for new players. There are a variety of ways to obtain them, including contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that lets players increase the stats of their weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It's done by the combination of an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will receive an upgraded level. The process will continue until the item is at its highest level.
Items with upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components cannot be stacked with one another, and can only be added to one item at a time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a certain quantity of items to be used, as well as a minimum level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right, a preview shows what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after is a player has enough resources will start the upgrading process.
An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small percentage. The maximum level for an item is 19.
When an item is at its maximum capacity, it will no longer have the option of upgrading. When an item reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for the track will be offered at a discount.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be put into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to give an additional bonus or effect while the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs that can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
Upgrades to items give players the ability to increase certain stats of weapons and armor that they currently own. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of item however, you'll usually require Dilithium as well as an amount of Upgrade Tokens.
Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade items components to weapons and equipment. This gives them extra effects or an increased level of the Best item upgrader. These upgrades can be obtained from many sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component has been added to an item, it cannot be removed and changed without restriction, however, the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped out without restrictions.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can improve the item upgrader kit's stats.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases the base defense and adds an additional 20 percent chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" on the other hand, increases weapon damage.
Certain items benefit from upgrading not so much for their improved stats and more because it allows players to gain the most value from a flawless roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.
When you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item, the game will display an in-game window that lists the required requirements. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
Once you've met the required requirements for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will be updated to show how close you are to completing it. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
