Upgrades to gear increase its base stats, and sometimes enhances its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations applied.

The most powerful racial Shield Razortail, for example, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP, and/or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradable than the non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an acquired item like an armor, weapon, or rings. The item is replaced with another of the same kind, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. However, they don't retain the quality of the original item and any resources that are wasted won't be compensated for.

The survivors can acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or bought from the market for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of a piece of equipment for example, increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.

Players can roll equipment with three categories: physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage that melee and weapons and spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.

There are three kinds of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a better quality. To create them, you need a higher level token for rerolling. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, while rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action spaces remains on the space till the next success is being rerolled. This helps you not waste upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the beginning of every Preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they display a description and icon for the appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

During the course of a game, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to chosen Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop sells to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve armor, weapons and other items. These stones are special stones which increase the level of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. These stones are also available to players who have completed daily contracts.

To upgrade their gear players first need to identify the appropriate item, and then click the "level up" button. This will display a list of the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone.

After deciding on what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. When the requirements have been satisfied, the user can then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. Depending on the item's rarity and rarity, the upgrade process could take anywhere from seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process is risk-free and doesn't affect the item level upgrade's durability. It's an excellent option for players who wish to get an edge in battle but don't want to spend a lot of money. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded item to an entirely new piece of equipment.

For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. Leveling

Leveling is a feature that allows you to increase the power of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the item will be upgraded to an upgraded level. The process will continue until the item is at its highest level.

Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon beside their slot. Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to provide an attribute bonus or extra effect when the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, except for glyphs that can be removed and replaced at will.

Requirements

The upgrades to items allow players the ability to increase certain stats on armor and weapons that they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item differ depending on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium along with an amount of Upgrade Tokens.

Item upgrade components can be incorporated into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide added effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade element is inserted into an item, it can't be removed and replaced freely, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped out without restrictions.

Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can boost the item's stats.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense, and also provides an additional 20% chance of blocking. In addition the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.

Some items benefit from being upgraded less for their increased stats, but for the fact that it lets players get the most value out of a perfect roll on the item. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.

When you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will display a pop-up window that shows the requirements required for that item. This includes the type of item (either weapon or armor), the tier of the item upgrader mod, the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

Once you've satisfied the conditions for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will change to show how close to completing it. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
