The Little-Known Benefits Of Item Upgrade
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades to gear increase its base stats and sometimes enhances its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.
For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the original version that is not upgraded.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an acquired item like a weapon, armor or ring. This replaces the item upgrade with another of the same kind however with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. However, they do not retain the quality of the original item, and any wasted resources will not be refunded.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors by a variety of means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attribute of an item such as increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll their equipment in three categories three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage of melee and weapons attack and spell power boost mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.
There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare, and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The marker that rerolls, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces, stays on the spot until the next Success is to be rerolled. This allows you to save upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of every preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they display a full description and an icon for the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. The restaurant's shop can exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
In the course of a run, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to selected Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available to reroll, and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These stones are special stones which increase the value of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment, the player must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". This will show a list of the item's level, and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item upgrades will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone.
After selecting the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. After the player has met the requirements, they can click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can take between seconds and minutes.
The upgrade process is also risk-free and doesn't affect the longevity of the item. The system is a great way for players who wish to get an edge in combat, but don't want to strain their wallets. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto an entirely new piece of equipment.
The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for novice players. However, there are numerous ways to obtain these stones, such as contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the power of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the item will be upgraded to an upgrade to a higher level. The process will continue until the item is at its highest level.
Items with upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be applied to more than one item at the same time. Each upgrade component also requires an amount of items as well as a certain level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the first is where players can place equipment that needs to be upgraded, while the right shows a preview of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when a player has sufficient materials will initiate the upgrade process.
An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small amount. The maximum level for an item level upgrade is 19.
When an item is at its maximum capacity and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. Also, when a piece of gear reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to provide an additional effect or bonus when the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted, acquired through quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, except for glyphs which can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
Upgrades to items give players the ability to increase certain stats on weapons and armor that they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ based on the type of item however, you'll usually require Dilithium and a number Upgrade Tokens.
Upgrades to items can be incorporated into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide additional effects or to increase the level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, such as crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component is added to an item, it cannot be removed and changed without restriction, however, the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped out without restrictions.
Upgrades can boost the Mark Level or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. In addition the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Certain items benefit from upgrading less because of their improved stats, but because it allows players to get the most value from a flawless roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and can be worth as much as 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.
When you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item, the game will display an in-game window that lists the required requirements. These include the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) and the tier of the item and the upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
The game will put an item in your inventory when you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show how close you are towards finishing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
