Components

An upgrade may include a suffix or prefix that alters the name of the item to which it is used (for examplethe 'Canthan Armor Insignia' becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, which allows players to make stronger versions of the equipment with the smallest amount of Upgrade Crystals than are required to reach the same level of upgrade using normal methods.

A boost upgrade can alter the attack or defence characteristics of an armored weapon or.
