Why Item Upgrade Is Everywhere This Year

Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements and how many random augmentations are made available.

For instance, the premium racial shield Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to roll a purchased item such as armor, weapon, or ring. The item is swapped for another of the same type, with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item upgrading and any resources that are wasted won't be compensated for.

The survivors can acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests or purchase them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of an item for example, increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.

Players can reroll their equipment into three aspects that include physical power, magical power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost damage from weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each of these upgrades the item to a better quality. To make them, you require a higher level reroll token. Upgrades require a common item upgrader kit. Rare upgrades require items that are either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The marker for rerolling, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action areas, remains on the space till the next success is rerolled. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the beginning of every preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. When they are opened, they will display an image and description of the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of coins.

As a result, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes which blueprints the restaurant's shop sells to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that increase the value of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. They can also be purchased by players who complete daily contracts.

To upgrade their gear players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click the "level up" button. This will display a menu that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being leveled up, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade, the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he is able to click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last from a few seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is safe and doesn't impact the longevity of the item upgrader kit. The system is an excellent choice for those who wish to gain an advantage in battle but don't want to strain their wallets. Furthermore, players can transfer the experience and the progress of an upgraded item to new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.

The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for novice players. There are a variety of ways to obtain these stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that allows players to increase the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It's done by adding upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume the upgrade components and grant the item an upgrade level, giving the item an additional boost in the area. This process can continue until the item reaches its maximum level.

Items that have upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be added to more than one item at once. Each upgrade component also requires an amount of items as well as a certain level of equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item level upgrade that they wish to upgrade. On the right, a preview shows what the gear looks like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once a player has sufficient materials will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.

When an item reaches its maximum level that it can no longer have the option to upgrade. Once a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that is able to be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to give an extra effect or attribute bonus while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs which can be replaced and removed at any time.

Requirements

Upgrades to items allow players to boost the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the kind of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. In addition, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.

Certain items are better off being upgraded not so much for their improved stats and more because it allows players to get the most value from a flawless roll on the item upgrader. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.

The game will display the requirements once you choose the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. These include the item type (either Armor or Weapon), the tier of the item, the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

The game will place an item in your inventory after you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show how close to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
